  D00R : TG dunno redo pg #
Posted on 12 Oct 2010 03:46 pm by blix

^^; I really honestly have forgot what page numbers this redo was supposed to be.

Here is something interesting to see.

AND ACTUALLY THIS IS THE VERY LAST REDO OFFICIALLY. I was not done before. I have always had this mental image of the wolf and the star. I drew this scene ages ago, stretched it to a board in preparation to paint .... and then I could not figure out how to paint a burning pin point of light. So I stared at this scene for weeks, afraid of ruining it, until finally last Sunday I decided I was at the very least done caring whether or not I ruined it, so I began slapping paint on it with reasonably successful results.

Of course, at this point in the story ... I don't know if anyone has put any deep reading comprehension inspired thought in to it .... but that is not a star. That light is the fish.

You might have guessed if you'd seen this spread sooner? XD Yes, I think seeing the underwater ripples might help.

You might also have guessed if you could see the map of the world in which these events take place, but I am reserving that map for the end of chapter 2.

Thursday, I will post the pencils of the chapter 2 cover and then I will reorder all the redraws to fit into the archive the way they have always been meant to.

I AM SO EXCITED TO HAVE THE ARCHIVE BE AS IT SHOULD, I CANNOT EVEN SAY! ;______________;

TWC: an inappropriate joke regarding the cast of Paradox and some reader comments. XD I had this scene in my head and I had to draw it out. The problem lays in crucial definition nuances of the English language, of course.

If you visited TG between this update and the last, I was playing with a different comment system that would allow me to reply to comments.

I'll be using that plugin in the near future, but it isn't ready yet. (I need to make some layout changes to the site for it to work correctly.)

So the wolf really is from the underworld, if he's looking up and seeing the fish.

It's a beautiful job as always. And thanks for introducing me to Paradox. I had to go check it out and I've read the first four chapters already!

Great Comic Posted by systemcat (Guest) on 14 Oct 2010 07:45 pm!
Great Comic, shame it gets listed so far back in the top 100. Only brothered by the watermarks you put on all the pages but I understand why you have them up. If you're still looking for more web comics to read I can recommend a few. Don't wanna list my email here but you can catch me by the same user name on DA. .. Really good water color work, you and a few other artists make me wish I could paint well with it. Peace out :-).

'Tis wonderful. Posted by Grumpy Old Diamond (Guest) on 16 Oct 2010 10:05 am!
I have been following this comic for a while, and this final bit of watercolor has finally spurred me to comment.

Absolutely beautiful. I've obviously not been out and around enough, for I had not known that watercolors could create something as I've seen on this page; my skills are, alas, not great, and what I have seen from other places is almost entirely landscapes -- and usually bright ones at that.

*votes* ^_^ Great work. Before I go off on a search for more artwork and writing in the time before your next update, if you are still looking for webcomics... Another one that I've been following is Order of the Stick, by Rich Burlew -- provided you like fantasy/humor. I have no link to provide, but it is fairly easy to find. Try reading a few pages, and the art-style starts feeling quite natural.
