It turned out exactly how I wanted. It only took a day to paint (which is why there's an early update) ........... it isn't that I'm getting better. IT'S THAT MOST OTHER PAGES ARE RED HEADED STEP CHILDREN. No really though, I'm stunned. This page slightly makes me shiver. It reminds me why I can't quit this damned project. If I quit as I so frequently feel like doing, I'll never prove that I'm not a complete idiot. NO REALLY, these pages here actually foreshadow something. It's stupid how in to this story I am. I'm mostly completely certain that it doesn't show that much and that these characters are not felt as poignantly as I'd like them to be. I realized also that this is the back cover of chapter 2. Partly because this page needs to be seen again, but with less, more concise text.................. vote on TWC to see the back cover. The fish is a clever creature who does not exactly say what she means. Mostly, this page breaks my heart in preparation for chapter 3. A song was on my mind for Vidu having to do with this page and all that comes after it. The Exies are kind of a guilty emo pleasure of mine. Uhm. There are a load of visual elements to this page hinting at deeper meanings ... I think they will be understood, perhaps even subconsciously. Lastly in this giant rambling author commentary, thank you for the comments on the last page. <3 I was glad. I need to hurry and instate that new comment system so I can actually reply. ;_; Tweet

Posted by xero.zero on 09 Nov 2010 11:11 am! Oh, my goodness... The magnitude of what is on this page -- I mean that in a good way. I'm pretty much speechless as to what else I should say, SO, I'm going to leave you with this. Beautiful page. (Is there a better word for beautiful? Majestic? XD)
